Quilter's Dyslexia strikes again. Obviously I need to take a better look at the picture of this quilt. A MUCH better look. So I've pulled this book from the shelf (Forty Fabulous Quick Cut Quilts by Evelyn Sloppy) and placed it on the cutting table - I figure I'd better have it right in front of me or there's no hope at all of duplicating this setting.
(Double whoops! Guess it's a good thing I got a pedicure last Saturday LOL!)

Is it that your sashings are "backwards" on the top row? It is gonna look great!
Oh why is it that we never see these things until they are neatly and firmly stitched together? *s*
Boy, am I glad my name's not Evelyn, and I didn't marry Mr Sloppy!
Love the postage stamp work Patti!
Definitely time consuming, but so visually stunning...good choice! Hugs, Finn
I'm laughing out loud here. Seriously. After finding out that they had just made a mistake, many people would immediately start undoing it, some would give up and toss the whole mess in a corner for another day. Only a true blogger would grab the camera and share their mishap with the world. Oh, your toes look great by the way. I love quilt pictures with feet in them.
Too funny! At least you didn't get toooooo far along with it :)
I'm making similar blocks today, too, with pink and brown scraps.

Oh yeah, it is cute, cute, cute!
It took me 2 tries to see what your mistake was! Maybe I'm dyslexic too?? Anyway, oops! But this is gonna look terrific when it's done! And your toes look good, BTW.
While I think I am recognizing your 'mistake' there really is nothing 'wrong' with it! Hey, it's OK the way it is -- in case you try again and make the same 'mistake' again. 8-)) I gotta check out that book again - I don't remember that clever quilt in her book. Your version is really lovely!
