Please help me choose!

Here are the choices I have for sashing the Pinwheel Daisy quilt. Which do you like best? I'm having a terrible time deciding. I'd love your opinion!

I will also use one of these for setting squares - or maybe I'll use the yellow left over from the block centers. Setting squares make it so much easier to keep everything even when adding sashing. I will probably pick a print for the outside border - right now I have no idea which print that will be.

So, do you like the pink?

The poison green?

How about the purplish blue?

Maybe a lighter green?

Or a yellow that's a bit darker than the block centers?

What about this teal?

Too many choices for me!

Oh man, hard decision!! I think I like either the poison green or the purplish blue.

Wow! I like the pink and I'm usually a blue-green person. It gives it a great 30's look, if that's what you want. :cD

Patti - If it was me choosing, I'd have to go with the poison green. Seems to make the blocks all part of a whole...just sayin! - Nancy

I like the poison green and the purplish blue but any of them will work!

Aren't we a lot of help with all of the favorites? *S* I like the teal and the purplish blue the best, but I think any of them will look great.

i like the lighter green because all the brighter colors seem to wash out the blocks a bit.

I like the poison green or purplish blue but they all look good and I don't think you will go wrong no matter which you choose.

My vote goes for the blue first, then either teal or pink. Either way will be a bright, happy quilt!

I like them all, but probably the teal, then the pink.

There are a lot of choices there! How many different opinions have you received? I live the purplish blue - it is hard to see any purplish in the blue but I think that blue looks the most "30's" Good luck choosing - as they all are really nice and you won't go wrong with any colour you choose.

I usually like the greens from that era, but I think these look best with the pink sashing.

I like the pink and the teal, but I like the teal a little bit more.

Barbara said...

What Sarah said. The pink is good but predictable. The teal gives it that little bit of the unexpected that punches it up a notch.

Purplish blue...or the sage green...or the teal...

Not much help, am I? :)

For a pop I think purple/blue or teal; for sofeter girl feel or look pink; vintage look and feel yellow or lighter green...i like to think about what feeling i get from the colors as a whole and where the quilt will go, what room, etc. and the feeling I want the quilt to give the space its in.

I love the lighter green. To me it looks most 30's with that fabric :-)

I love the pink, my next choice would be the purplish blue. I think both of these really make your beautiful blocks stand out.

Oh, they're all so beautifully 30s era, any would work, but I like the poison green and the blue.

They all look good but I like the poison green, and I'm a 'blue' person. Pink is my second choice.

I like the teal, second choise purplish blue. Good luck!!

I like them all.....
Could you sash each one with a different colored frame? I'm into framed blocks here of late.

Whatever your choice, I think it will be stunning.

Edna said...

I happen to like the yellow as well... seems to make the centers "pop" and shows off all the colors. Have fun making your choice!! It will be beautiful with any of the colors.

I like the purplish blue then the light green....all are pretty and will work. Hugs, Linda

Without looking at anyone else's answers - Yellow. Now I'm gonna see what everyone else said.

first choice purple/blue, second teal and then pink and ..... Why not pick the border and let it tell you which one? I want to make this one, too.

Blue looks the best I think! I've never seen this block. Was it hard to do?

Helen in the UK said...

I vote for pink or yellow :)

Shelina said...

Wow, I can certainly see why you are confused - they all look so beautiful. I like the pink and the blue about equally for first place. Teal would be my second place. You can't go wrong whatever you choose. Just to throw another suggestion to make you more confused, you could use one color for sashing, and a different color for cornerstones.

Patty said...

If you are going for pure historical accuracy - go with the lighter green - if that isn't too important to you - all of them look divine!

Yellow, Yellow, Yellow that is what is screaming to me! J

Oh they look so great. And I"m probably too late for my opinion, but I like the pink the best but the dark yellow and teal are my second choices.
