Update on our grandchildren

I'm very happy to report that our daughter and son-in-law received their preapproval of the DNA testing from the US Embassy last Saturday. They are now one step closer to bringing Diogenes Santiago aka Joseph Logan-to-be home. Now All Gods Children International is compiling the myriad of official papers they need to turn over to the Guatemalan Protectorate General. The next step is the long one - an average of 2 1/2 months of examination by the Guatemalan government. We have our fingers and toes crossed that they will come in below average and get the results of this step sooner. In the meantime I'm posting a new picture of Sophie and her daddy. I adore this picture!

I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for good news. What a cute picture! Grandchildren are the best.

Hmmm, why would they change his name I wonder? Just kidding. I think Joseph is a lovely name and will help him fit right in :) Isn't that a gorgeous photo! I have one of Romily 'reading' at age four months - it's the cutest photo.

Patti don't worry about not keeping up with everyone's blogs - it's impossible to get everything done we'd like to each day. Do what I do when it's a bit overwhelming - mark 'all read' and start over. We won't have gone too far!

Sophie (what a beautiful child) looks so secure with her daddy. And what could beat the reading material!

Just fabulous! Look how intently she's looking at the book. Taking time to do this is so important!

What an adorable photo! Isn't it amazing to see your children as parents? I never get tired of watching my son interact with his children, partially, I'm sure, because I don't get to see them very often. It's still a wondrous thing to see.

Haven't visited for a long time - sorry. Am whittling my reading list down to the bare minimum. That photo of Sophie is beautiful.
