I hope to get the charity quilt finished tomorrow. We'll see how that goes - my feet and back may hurt from all the time I spent at the machine today.
All in all this was a great weekend, but it wasn't completely without injury. While quilting the baby quilt I ran the longarm needle through the side of my finger. Hurt a lot at first, but a tight bandaid to stop the blood took care of things and now it's just a nuisance when I quilt. Time spend by quickly these past two days - nevertheless, I'm very satisfied at the number of quilting goals I accomplished. All weekends should be so productive!

I love this quilt, it is so happy and warm :) I love the quilting you did on it, great job :)
OK, just so I understand this - you didn't cut yourself yesterday with the rotary cutter so today you had to sew through your finger with the longarm??
Great weekend for you...YIPPEE! (except running over your finger) YIKES! that makes me cringe. Great job on that baby quilt...perfect panto. Your friend will be thrilled.
I love this and the convergence one as well! What a pleasure to quilt such gorgeous quilts and what a great job you did!
Owwie! Girl, you gotta learn to take better care of yourself.
Right through your finger? Ouch!
The quilt is darling - cheerful and happy.
I used Shooting Stars when I was renting the long arm earlier in the year...was an easy and fun pattern to do for a beginning like me...and it actually turned out OK!
The red and white baby quilt is cute. Fun little baby quilt.
I think time has sped up and 24 hrs is no longer 24 hrs, more like 20 hrs...kinda like a 3lb can of coffee used to be 3lbs...now what is it, 36 oz? There is no justice!!

My all time favorite quilt that I made was a red and white baby quilt. This quilt looks fantastic!
Did you see that Princess Chop Chop made a veiled reference to you and your mishap on Stashbusters?? We must make something good come from this latest injury.
Very cute simple quilt! I can't believe you injured yourself!
Oh, I sewed through my finger with my sewing machine when it was new. I told my honey that at least we know the thing will sew through just about anything. Love the quilt, and glad you didn't have to make a trip to the ER! :)
It's a great quilt. I like the red and white blocks, too. I've got about 1/2 of Will's quilt done - I'm using Rainbow Flight again as a panto. I'm waiting for my birthday and hoping the kids come through with a gift certificate so I can buy more pantos! LOL
Your quilting is beautiful!
I really liked the convergence quilt too!
Take care of your finger!
Nice quilt - and a reminder that simple designs are often the most effective.
Those reds look great, I hope she got you in on some hot financial deals for doing it!Tracey
I love the work you did on your friend's convergence quilt - well done!
And ow! That needle through the finger must've hurt!
The red/white quilt is also very cute. How nice to have you to quilt it!
