Next two blocks prepped

Today I prepped the next two blocks for the Feathered Star Girl Gang quilt. All I need to do is baste the pieces down and it will be ready to go. Tomorrow I plan to prep the two eagle blocks. I'm going to be needing lots of handwork at the end of this week as I'll be doing a lot of sitting in waiting rooms. Between these four blocks and the last two borders of Heirloom Stitches I'll be all set. I love fussy cutting large floral prints for "painted" vases!

I just love that block. I love applique so much and the way it looks. My mother and two sisters, well, three don't like applique. I do have a few nieces that do.

What lovely blocks! I love to get the fiddly part of applique done so I can sit down and enjoy the hand stitching part.

Love the blocks! I need to get some blocks prepped for when Little Miss arrives...I'll be away from my machine for a while. Good thoughts for the end of the week and the waiting room hours.

Glad you'll be prepared for lots of sitting around, helps if your fingers are busy especially if you are anxious. Nice too if you don't feel like you completely wasted that time and you have something to show for it. Hope your week goes okay.
