Sophie's quilt is done! It's a good thing too, because Jeremy and Chelsea are coming up for dinner tonight so they can pick it up. I'm very happy with how it turned out, but I'm glad it's 
done also. It'll be nice to get back to working in my kind of colors. I even busted most of what I bought when I made the back. For the label I just wrote on the back on the green 
fabric with a Pigma pen. Nice and quick but it works!************

ReplyDeleteI hate making labels & spent too much time making 4 yesterday. I think I'll use your method for the remaining two I need to make. Your blended label is more attractive than many standard "signs" affixed to quilt backs.

It's 11:20 CST and I'm still in PJ's...been up since 5 and I've held him for hours. Can you guess how spoiled he'll be by the time I leave on Sunday. You just can't even imagine how wonderful this is. Nothing anyone ever described is as wonderful as it actually is.

ReplyDeleteI like using quilt labels, but I really like the idea of writing on the hanging sleeve, if one is used. Beautiful quilt!
