When I went out to our mailbox I noticed our yard. Just in the last day beautiful purple and white crocuses have opened their faces to the sun. They are everywhere I look!
And the early daffodils are blooming.
March has come in like a lamb - I hope that doesn't mean it will go out with a huge storm!
Bit your tongue! LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I believe you are a couple of weeks ahead of us although new growth is several inches above the ground. Always makes me want to sew with purple and yellow - so cheery
ReplyDeletewhat a deliciously welcome sight...i am truly envious
ReplyDeleteYour comment on Taryn's blog caught my eye so just had to pop over & "meet" you! Love the organization in your sewing room - you have sure found some great solutions to handling one's stash.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt in your header and the Alma/Cheri quilt you did is so lovely and brings hopes of Spring. Thank you for sharing.
We've had Spring-like weather here too, hope it lasts! I can't keep up with your blog posts. I think you post almost as much as you quilt :)
ReplyDeleteoh, dear. Where did the sunshine go? Not so much like spring here right now. I have a sewing show to go to on Friday and usually we have a freak snowstorm (in an area that gets little if any snow)on that week-end. Once it stopped me as we have a mountain pass to cross but now I make sure my husband is standing by to drive -MUST get to the show on time. haha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sight! I hope ours are up and blooming soon.
