Please help me choose!

Here are the choices I have for sashing the Pinwheel Daisy quilt. Which do you like best? I'm having a terrible time deciding. I'd love your opinion!

I will also use one of these for setting squares - or maybe I'll use the yellow left over from the block centers. Setting squares make it so much easier to keep everything even when adding sashing. I will probably pick a print for the outside border - right now I have no idea which print that will be.

So, do you like the pink?

The poison green?

How about the purplish blue?

Maybe a lighter green?

Or a yellow that's a bit darker than the block centers?

What about this teal?

Too many choices for me!

  3. Wow! I like the pink and I'm usually a blue-green person. It gives it a great 30's look, if that's what you want. :cD

  4. Patti - If it was me choosing, I'd have to go with the poison green. Seems to make the blocks all part of a whole...just sayin! - Nancy

  19. There are a lot of choices there! How many different opinions have you received? I live the purplish blue - it is hard to see any purplish in the blue but I think that blue looks the most "30's" Good luck choosing - as they all are really nice and you won't go wrong with any colour you choose.

  25. What Sarah said. The pink is good but predictable. The teal gives it that little bit of the unexpected that punches it up a notch.

  29. For a pop I think purple/blue or teal; for sofeter girl feel or look pink; vintage look and feel yellow or lighter green...i like to think about what feeling i get from the colors as a whole and where the quilt will go, what room, etc. and the feeling I want the quilt to give the space its in.

  35. I like them all.....
Could you sash each one with a different colored frame? I'm into framed blocks here of late.

Whatever your choice, I think it will be stunning.

  36. I happen to like the yellow as well... seems to make the centers "pop" and shows off all the colors. Have fun making your choice!! It will be beautiful with any of the colors.

  39. first choice purple/blue, second teal and then pink and ..... Why not pick the border and let it tell you which one? I want to make this one, too.

  41. Wow, I can certainly see why you are confused - they all look so beautiful. I like the pink and the blue about equally for first place. Teal would be my second place. You can't go wrong whatever you choose. Just to throw another suggestion to make you more confused, you could use one color for sashing, and a different color for cornerstones.

  42. If you are going for pure historical accuracy - go with the lighter green - if that isn't too important to you - all of them look divine!
