This was no surprise!

A lot of these little quizzes ask silly questions and don't give one the chance to answer "none of the above". This one, that I found on Beth's blog, intrigued me enough to try it. I wanted to see if I really knew myself as well as I thought I did. The answer is a resounding yes - should be after 59 years, right?

Your Brain is 67% Female, 33% Male

Your brain leans female
You think with your heart, not your head
Sweet and considerate, you are a giver
But you're tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!

It's been a particularly tough last day and a half at work. I received some news yesterday morning about changes that are coming next April 1st when my supervisor retires. Right now I'll just say that the change will create a huge challenge for me. That's not what I'd like to say, but that's definitely all I should say. That, and the fact than now I'm more motivated than ever to pay off our house, CRV and longarm so I can retire. The sooner the better. Another very good reason to stay out of virtual and cyber quilt shops, and away from buying fabric!
I don't have any new quilt pictures to post, so I'll post pictures of projects from the past - just because I want to post something. There's just something about fall that gets me into the total quilty-sewing mood. Sharing old projects is better than sharing nothing, right? Here is a table runner and fall kitchen towels that I made a few years ago. The table runner and pumpkin and acorn appliqués were designed by Pat Sloan and shared with the members of her yahoo groups email list. Getting these out is the beginning of fall decorating at our house. Sorry the pictures are so small - I had to pull them off my webshots page as I'm on break at work. I'll replace them with the full size pictures when I get home later this afternoon.
