Snow!

Not a great picture from my phone - and the amount of snow will look very puny to those of you who get snow every winter. For us snow lovers, however, this is enough to thrill us. Seems like we get even this much only once in every 3-5 years. It's still falling - I can hear my mother saying "ol' Mother Nature is shaking her feather bed!"

  1. I would be glad to trade our snow for yours. We are expecting 4-9 tomorrow during the day so coming and going to work will be a nightmare.

I don't mind a little bit but timing is everything when it comes to snowfall. I prefer on the weekends when I don't have to drive in it!

  2. We have 6 inches here and it is not going away anytime soon because the temps are really dropping. Isn't it nice that you don't have to go out to work in this?

  5. I wish we even had that much. I live in Portland and I seem to work in a pocket that has had hardly more then a dusting. At home it snows when i am at work and melts by the time I get home or it's been blown away by the wicked east wind. I want my snow.

  6. Oh argh Patti! I hate snow even if it means not having to go to work. I'm glad we only get this every few years or so. Next time it snows down here I'll think, "this is for Patti." :) Have a wonderful Christmas. Can't believe it's next week.
