Tonight Kim picked up the quilt I did for her, and gave me permission to share pictures of the quilt. I love this little quilt, and had so much fun quilting it. She calls it "Hot Apple Pie" because she can just picture it as a table topper with a hot apple pie straight from the oven sitting on it to cool. She received a little gift from Moda with 2 1/2" squares of four different fabric lines, so this is what she made from it. I love the sunflowers - they are different from any I've seen in a pattern before.
Beautiful quilt and beautifully quilted. Having a hard time imagining a hot apple pie cooling on it though... Guess she doesn't have cats? or at least not cats like mine... hee hee.

The Baltimore album quilt blocks are amazing. You have really done a wonderful job on them, and you were fortunate to be able to learn from the writer of the book. How fun! I admire your work, someday I’ll get there.
I haven’t been to Daisy Kingdom before, where is it? My friend has talked about it too.
I am so glad you asked her if you could share it with us ;) What a pretty way to use up those 2.5" squares. I agree with everyone else - those sunflowers appliqued on really make the quilt! Great job on the quilting too! ~Bonnie
Hot Apple Pie is a great name! The quilt has a cozy look and warm apple pie....well, just yummy! :>) I thought I had the oldest Baltimore going, but you've got me on that one. Mine is about 10 years in the works now but is on the list of 2007 to be completed projects. Good luck with yours!

Thanks for the reminder on credit card fraud. I've started to shred all my receipts and I don't carry my credit cards with me unless I know I'm going to use them - which isn't very often as I'm trying to pay them off.
Your Baltimore blocks are wonderful Patti! The Hot Apple Pie quilt is a real cutie and I can feel the smell of hot apple pie with cinnamon in my nose :-)
