Retreat show and tell

The landing was the perfect spot for displaying the large show and tell quilts. Unfortunately show and tell was Saturday night, and the flash wasn't really adequate for the pictures. I tried using a longer exposure but just couldn't hold my hands steady long enough to prevent blurring.

You may recognize the first picture - the quilt for the auction to benefit Northwest Medical Teams - all done except for gold cording on all the fans. I sure hope it brings a good price - we certainly worked hard enough on it!

It's such a pleasure to meet your friends. ALL quilts are beautiful, really.... but, as to me, that nine patch with orange/brown hour glass block is GORGEOUS !

    Hugs and smiles,

  12. great pics, I am just this minute watching 7 brides with the commentary on and in reply to your comment all the quilts and dresses from quilts were from Op Shops!! Imagine the idea that they were so out of fashion they were thrown away!!

  13. Hi, back again. Had a minute to look at some more of your blog and as well as loving all your pics, I wondered if you had the recipe for the cakes in the jar? Looked interesting. Retreats are my fave thing!! Oh, one day I may sort email out on my pos, I just worry about unwanted stuff.
