The landing was the perfect spot for displaying the large show and tell quilts. Unfortunately show and tell was Saturday night, and the flash wasn't really adequate for the pictures. I tried using a longer exposure but just couldn't hold my hands steady long enough to prevent blurring.
You may recognize the first picture - the quilt for the auction to benefit Northwest Medical Teams - all done except for gold cording on all the fans. I sure hope it brings a good price - we certainly worked hard enough on it!
Thanks for these beautiful pictures ! You surely had a great time ... It's such a pleasure to meet your friends. ALL quilts are beautiful, really.... but, as to me, that nine patch with orange/brown hour glass block is GORGEOUS !
I've had such fun reading through your blog!! Your organization genes (which truly must have been given to you at conception as you stated!) are great! You have motivated and inspired me! Thanks for all your sharing!
WOW! Great show and tell! What inspiration! Now I want to go home and sew again! Thanks! I've been so tired since I got home on Sunday I haven't touched my machine yet!
great pics, I am just this minute watching 7 brides with the commentary on and in reply to your comment all the quilts and dresses from quilts were from Op Shops!! Imagine the idea that they were so out of fashion they were thrown away!!
Hi, back again. Had a minute to look at some more of your blog and as well as loving all your pics, I wondered if you had the recipe for the cakes in the jar? Looked interesting. Retreats are my fave thing!! Oh, one day I may sort email out on my pos, I just worry about unwanted stuff.
You've shared so many wonderfully inspirational pics of your Retreat with us, Patti! Thank you for all of your efforts. What a terrific time away with friends!
I really enjoyed reading about your retreat! After looking at all the pictures and reading the posts, I feel like I was there! It sounds like you had fun. What a creative group!
nice variety of quilts...looks like everyone had tons of fun...and got lots done. Will miss you tonight at guild-I am opting to stay home and finish getting ready-ugh, too much to do!
looks like you all had a wonderful time - makes me want to move south so I could join your guild

My favourite part of any retreat or guild is the show and tell. I can tell you all had lots of fun and the quilts are spectacular :-)
